Concern for the environment is one of Conqueror's priorities, and production processes are as environmentally friendly as possible. Some of the key procedures followed are;
- The use of Elemental Chlorine Free (ECF) pulps only.
- Pulp to make Conqueror papers is sourced from commercially managed forests
- Conqueror Recycled, is made from a minimum of 70% FSC Certified Mxed Source Virgin Pulp and 25% Post Consumer Recycled Fibres.
- Mills are accredited with the international Environment Management Standard IS014001
- Heavy investment in CHP (Combined Heat and Power) generation to significantly reduce greenhouse gases and acidifying emissions.
- Investment in reduced water use and effluent volume processes. All effluent plant residue is put to product re-use thus eliminating the need for landfill disposal.
